Martha Agarwal

Martha Agarwal serves as Vice President of Asset Management at Bridge Debt Strategies Fund Manager LLC with over 17 years of experience in finance and commercial real estate.

From 2003 to 2008, Mrs. Agarwal was a senior underwriter for the Commercial Real Estate Lending group within the Fixed Income Division of Morgan Stanley in New York, NY. During this time, Mrs. Agarwal performed all aspects of due diligence related to structuring and underwriting of loans in over $1Bn transactions targeted for securitization. She advocated for internal credit approval, and prepared investor files for submission to credit-rating agencies and investors for all asset types. Mrs. Agarwal was also involved in originating loans from Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Clients and assisted in developing a Client Relationship Management database to centralize the internal referral process for Firm Clients. Agarwal worked as an Independent Real Estate Consultant with Morgan Stanley’s Fixed Income Division as well as Bridge Investment Group and others between 2010 and 2017.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mrs. Agarwal was a Senior Associate in the Real Estate Advisory Services group of PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York, NY and Houston, TX where she worked as a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions Team on several transactions, prepared and presented credit committee presentations for various clients, prepared market analysis and feasibility studies for on- and off-campus student housing projects, and completed various valuation assignments. Mrs. Agarwal was a Vice President with Bank of America in the CMBS Capital Markets group in Dallas, TX where she began her career in commercial real estate. She analyzed loan requests, recommended preliminary structuring of loans, performed property due diligence, and prepared credit committee presentations for all asset types and attended Real Estate Credit Training in Charlotte, NC. Agarwal is an active volunteer with the Junior League of Greenwich.

Mrs. Agarwal received her Master of Land Economics and Real Estate from Texas A&M University and her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University.
