Brad Andrus is currently the President of Bridge Structured Finance, a position he has held since 1997. During his career he has procured and arranged over $1.5 billion of real estate loans for Bridge Investment Group, The Real Estate Opportunity Capital Funds, as well as third party borrowers.
Before creating BSF, Brad Andrus held the position of Senior Director at Finova Realty Capital (FRC). During his career at Finova he personally originated over $250 million in commercial loans. Prior to joining FRC Brad served as Senior Vice President and Partner for eight years with Mason McDuffie Financial Corporation, a 100 year old highly respected mortgage- banking firm in the San Francisco Bay area. While there he originated and provided oversight of a $2 billion commercial real estate mortgage portfolio for ten life insurance companies located in the US and Canada.
Brad is a licensed real estate professional, as well as a certified underwriter of advanced commercial real estate. He also currently sits on the board of directors for Bridge Investment Group where he is responsible for banking and capital markets relationships, arranging debt and lines of credit.
In addition to the experience Brad Andrus provides to existing and potential clients, Bridge Structured Finance has existing exclusive correspondent relationships with major lenders. This allows BSF to exclusively represent lenders such as Wells Fargo and KeyBank. Collectively, Brad has financed more than $900 million in commercial mortgage loans for these lenders. Therefore, these exclusive relationships are deeply rooted and are expected to continue in the foreseeable future. In addition to these exclusive relationships, BSF has formed non-exclusive relationships and closed loans with over 20 of the top lenders in the country, including NorthMarq/Freddie Mac, Greystone/Fannie Mae, and Prudential, to name just a few. In the commercial mortgage brokerage business, a firm’s success is predicated upon the strength of their lending relationships, which take years to establish. Bridge Structured Finance joins Bridge Investment Group with a well-established track record, which will not only allow Bridge Investment Group to benefit from the most advantageous financing options, but will allow Bridge Structured Finance to attract additional clients.
